Br Mixxxx came to Chicago and stressed gain Caucasian for church life, ended up two brothers came to see me to ask me drop burden for Chinese speaking work. And I refused. Even one said next to my ear saying Chinese go to hell.
One time, I and br Exxx were no longer being invited to brother's meeting on Monday.
Br Exxx expressed concerns to me. I told him that if you are Watchman Nee or Witnesses Lee and see if they invite you or not.
I desperately prayed before the Lord and Lord started doing miracles.
The time whoever told me to stop Chinese speaking work gained no one. But I got the chance to see the work of the Holy Spirit, we got 11 baptisms in one gospel meeting that year. Even 3 students expressed wanted to get baptised before the gospel event. English speaking proclaimed to gain 12 students gained none.
Then I was continuing praying and Lord even did more, Lord moved br Mx family over, one time 18 adults moved to Columbus. So I and br Exxx got invited back to core brother's fellowship and resumed Chinese speaking district meeting.
Then year 2016, brother Sxxx all of sudden turned hot to make all young one speaking English and removed me from student meeting rotation. So I have no meeting with students any more. No Chinese speaking students meeting on Friday.
Then I was asked to resign at my work at OPERS, but found a job at OSU as a contractor, man's hand to remove me from students, God's hand moved me even closer.
Even br Sxxx got me with other 3 leading ones accusing me....
I told him several times the young ones not even read Bible ones in Chinese they could not understand already, why force them to read English. Also stick to br Lee's teaching in 60's not to have a Chinese speaking work. He also told br Exxx Lxx not to go Orford OH to preach Gospel to Chinese speaking students there, there are thousands.
OSU campus have full time team for 8 years and I don't see Caucasians being gained many, I think the number is in single digits. If full timer could not gain Caucasian students. How can you ask us working saints, no timers to gain Caucasians. If you stop us preach gospel to Chinese students, it will end up gaining no one. Eventually next generation of Chinese students will not exist in church life. Year 2015 we did not have annual Chinese speaking gospel, we gained none Chinese speaking students.
2016 we had Chinese speaking gospel, 40+ gospel friends showed up, and one baptized later but I don't meet with students on Friday's..
To gain Caucasians ends up oppress the Chinese speaking work. And continue gaining almost zero students from OSU campus which is the 3rd largest campus in US.
I wrote this done not to complain, just to keep a record, bottom line is where is the Holy Spirit? Time after time, experience after experience, only kneel down, pray and fast desperately and bring in the work of the Holy Spirit works.
To gain Caucasian is a research project, need to survey all Caucasians to find out how and why they stay in church life.
Recently one Caucasian couple came and never showed up again. I need to ask if anyone followed up on them.
I have some interests in gaining Caucasian. It is a mystery to me.
